Your data rights
If onwora holds personal data about you, the GDPR gives you rights over it. The privacy policy says what we hold. This page says what you can ask for, and how.
The rights
- Access. A copy of the personal data we hold about you, and a short account of how we use it.
- Rectification. Correction of data that is inaccurate, or completion of data that is incomplete.
- Erasure. Deletion, when the data is no longer needed, you withdraw consent, or you object and we have no stronger reason to keep it. We may keep a record if the law requires it.
- Portability. The data you gave us, in a common machine-readable format, where the use is based on your consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means.
- Objection. You can object to a use based on our legitimate interest. We stop unless we can show a compelling reason that overrides yours.
- Restriction. A pause on using the data while a correction or an objection is considered, or if you need the data kept for a legal claim.
How to exercise them
- Email hello@onwora.com from the address you want us to use for the reply.
- Say which right you are using, and enough detail for us to find the data. A name and the address you wrote from is usually enough.
- We may ask a question to confirm it is you, so we do not hand your data to someone else.
We reply within one month. If the request is complex, or you send several, we may extend that by up to two further months, and we will tell you within the first month if we do.
There is no fee for an ordinary request. We can refuse or charge if a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, and we will explain why.
If you are not satisfied
You can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr. You may also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live.
